Benefits are payable for treatment received anywhere in the world, and the amounts paid are based on the cost of local treatment. The Comfort Plan provides quality insurance cover at affordable prices for treatment in local private hospitals and clinics. Hospital bills are settled directly with local hospitals and clinics, referred to as our ‘supporting hospitals’. We will also cover the cost of medical treatment received overseas up to the cost that would be payable for the same treatment in Malta. The Complete Plan is our top-of-the range health plan, that gives you the option of receiving medical treatment anywhere in the world. We are able to settle your bills directly with international hospitals, where this service is accepted. (Cover for treatment in USA and Canada is limited to €60,000, and is applicable only for emergency medical treatment). The plan includes benefits for evacuation and repatriation services and access to a 24/7 helpline for international emergency medical assistance services.
